Checking out iPads
- iPads are available at SCF Libraries for currently enrolled students with a library account in good standing (no overdue items.)
- iPads come with a case and a keyboard for easier typing.
- Many useful apps are already installed. Most of these applications allow you to create your own accounts and use them from any device.
- iPads may be checked out for 4 hours.
- iPads are checked out on a first come/first served basis.
- Students must comply with all federal, state and local laws and SCF policies.
- Report all loss, damage or malfunctions to Library staff immediately.
The library is NOT responsible for anything you put on or leave on our equipment. Therefore, please be sure to remove any personal information from the device!
Be sure to return the device to a staff member. Do Not Put Device in the Bookdrops.
Checking out Kindles
- Most Kindles are used for students on the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program. Many titles that are used in the nursing classes are already installed in the Kindles.
- Other Kindles are loaded with Literature books, or can be loaded with other titles as requested by faculty.
- Loan periods vary depending on use or request by faculty.
- Ask us for help on how to use the Kindles and how to download free books from the library.
