SCF Libraries Assessment and Planning

The library engages in ongoing assessment and planning. This guide provides the documentation of that effort.

Explanation

SCF Libraries engages in ongoing assessment of resources, facilities, services, and learning.  The link below is to the libraries' assessment plan.  Library assessment, as outlined in the plan, follows the academic multi-year program review schedule.  Conducting assessment in this way allows the library to discover whether available learning resources and services are appropriate for each educational program and discipline. Assessment for instruction, learning outcomes, print collections, digital collections, facilities, research/reference assistance, dual enrollment and  online learning services and support, and more are assessed by program such as Nursing, Digital Media and Computer Programming, and discipline such as Natural Science, Language & Literature, and Arts & Humanities.  The results of that assessment will be posted on this site, as well as shared with each program director or department chair to include in their program review.
