This guide explains how you can borrow things SCF doesn't own -- from around the world!

UBorrow =Inter Library Loan

  • When you see the UBorrow link in the Library Search, it means the SCF Library doesn't own that book, ebook or article, but that you have the option to try and request it from another library!

 

  • Once you fill out the form, you will be notified when that book, book chapter, ebook or article is available for you to either pick up or open!

 

  • You must use your SCF email address and for electronic items, you are limited to opening them to FIVE occurrences. 

 

  • The Library will hold a physical item at the campus you requested, so there is no need to travel to another location.

 

  • Timing is important. Electronic items often arrive within 24 hours, but physical items may take 5-7 days due to shipping.
