Basic Rules
Basic rules for citing most sources:
- References must be double spaced and have a hanging indent.
- Alphabetized by the first listed author.
- If same author, list in chronological order, oldest first.
- In the titles of articles, books, webpages and most other sources, only capitalize the first word, first word after punctuation (colon or dash), and proper nouns.
- Italicize titles of books, journals, newspapers, but not articles, chapters, or webpages.
