Library Instruction: Assessment of Student Learning Outcomes
In the Fall 2014 semester, we assessed 579 students in library instruction classes for ENC 1101. Shown below are the results of instruction assessment of two Information Literacy Learnning Outcomes: SLO #2 - Accessing information effectively and efficiently, and SLO #3 - Evaluating information and its sources critically.
Clear and Unclear
In these assessments, we asked students to identifiy the concepts from their library orientations that were the most clear and most unclear. Shown below, are the top ten concepts identified by students in both the "clear" and "unclear" categories.
