In addition to the Maker Commons Terms & Conditions, this equipment/room has the following Large Printing Terms & Conditions:
Large Printing Terms & Conditions:
- SCF students & staff can request to print by submitting a print request to the SCF Library Staff. The Library reserves the right to refuse any print request.
- Currently, the SCF Maker Commons large-format printer can be used by SCF Students or Staff for educational or college-related work, as follows:
Students/faculty printing for class assignments need to show SCF Library staff the assignment that requires the project, or the instructor needs to coordinate work with a librarian.
Staff or students printing for an SCF club, department, or other college groups need to be an official member of the group and provide approval from the faculty advisor.
- Users must bring the files ready to print (PDF preferred.) Currently, the computer in the printing room is not prepared for designing projects. (Users might want to check the Library's Media Editing room if necessary.)
- SCF Libraries and staff are not responsible for the success or lack thereof the printing job due to misprints, user error, quality, or equipment malfunctions.
- The SCF Library large printer currently uses one type of paper (regular paper, non-glossy). At this time, there are no possibilities to use a different paper or material.
- The SCF Library currently does not charge for printing in this specific large-format printer.
