The SCF Libraries "Collection Development (CD) Policy" is available by request.
The SCF Librarians work on their assigned subjects/disciplines and use professional practices to regularly select and deselect materials, and their placement in the collections, based on curricular needs and other aspects.
A Collection Development Committee maintains and updates the SCF Libraries Collection Development (CD) Policy which includes the criteria used to select and deselect materials, including print and electronic sources, as well as the procedure for requesting a Reconsideration of Library Materials.
