SCF Libraries Policies

Policies regarding library services and resources for SCF Libraries in all three campuses.

Events @ the SCF Libraries

Collaborate with a librarian to host an event @ the Libraries

The Library invites collaboration and the use of its spaces. Requests are contingent upon open hours, staffing, priority of use and availability.  Priority is given to student use, Library Programming & College Activities.

Some spaces that might be used for events are library forum, lobbies, and special rooms.

Staff and faculty can contact any of the SCF Librarians to collaborate in developing events to take place in the Libraries.

Community Rooms

The Bradenton Campus Library & Learning Center (bldg.3) also hosts two rooms open to Community events and other non-library uses.

These rooms (3-143 and 3-146) are not managed by the SCF Libraries.

In order to use, reserve, or ask any questions about those rooms, please contact the SCF Business Office, or Nathan Wellman (wellman@SCF.edu). SCF Staff can reserve these rooms in Ad-Astra.

Displays @ the SCF Libraries

Collaborate with a librarian to display @ the Libraries

SCF Librarians welcome suggestions and collaboration to develop book displays and other visual exhibits in the SCF Libraries.

We'd love to show student work, art, and other materials. Please contact an SCF Librarian.
